    About Old Ottawa East / Main St.

    • Is an older urban neighborhood in Capital ward area of Ottawa. Compared to other spotlight neighbourhoods in Ottawa it is relatively small and compact located between the Rideau River and the Rideau Canal.

    Neighbourhood Demographic

    • Old Ottawa East is not a large area of Ottawa and is known for its small town feeling within the big city. With this small town feels comes a strong sense of community and a drive to create a safe and welcoming home for all newcomers.

    Transit / Parking

    • If you are interested in taking the bus you can take OC Transpo bus #5 with Lees Train transit station in walking distance of most Old Ottawa East Residences. Here is the link to the station. 
    • This allows residences to travel throughout the city with eas. The best part about this neighbourhood is the construction of the Confederation Line that runs from Blair to Tunney’s Pasture.


    Amenities 

    • Within the heart of Old Ottawa Easter there is a lovely market called Main Farmers Market. You are also a close drive to Metro, Walmart, Loblaws and Whole Foods market there is also Watson’s Pharmacy as well. If you are looking for things to do in the neighbourhood there is are 3 parks, Brantwood Park, Springhurst Park and The Children's Garden.     Schools 

    • This neighbourhood is home to Rainbow Kidschool, Riverside montessori Preschool, Lady Evelyn Alternative School, St. Nicholas Adult High School and Immaculata High School and Saint Paul University.
